What's actually doing the work

Mandelic Acid
AHA (almond-derived) / 152 Dalton AHA
Acid
The largest commonly used AHA — 152 daltons — giving the slowest and most superficial penetration. The safest AHA for darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV–VI) as its slower action minimises PIH risk. Additional antimicrobial properties make it beneficial for acne-prone skin. Ideal for those needing gentle exfoliation without risk.
